Water
Corporation of Anguilla-Crocus Hill BWRO Plant, Anguilla. TSG Water Resources
is pleased to announce it has commissioned a 500,000 Imperial Gallon per day (2,273 m3/d) BWRO
plant for the Water Corporation of Anguilla (WCA) located at Crocus Hill. This plant was
contracted earlier in the year under a ten year build/own/operate/transfer (BOOT) contract to
design, build and operate the plant. This plant is already saving the Government of Anguilla
over $200,000 USD monthly in water procurement costs. The BOOT contract provided by TSG also includes a
1.5 million Imperial Gallon pre-stressed concrete storage tank provided by Crom Corporation.
Bakers
Bay Golf and Ocean Club, Great Guana Cay, Bahamas. Design,
construction and operation of a 1.1 million gpd RO plant, and a Membrane Bioreactor (MBR)
wastewater treatment plant phased for 60,000 gpd expansions up to 240,000 gpd, to serve resort
when completed. This contract included turn-key design and construction of both plants
as well as the RO building, the seawater supply and discharge wells, wastewater tankage and storage for
potable water and gray water.
Amanyara, Providenciales, Turks
and Caicos Islands. Design, construction and operation of a site built 60,000 gpd RO
plant and subsequent addition of a 50,000 gpd containerized RO plant to serve the resort until a large
facility is installed to serve the golf course planned for the resort. Both plants are currently in
operation.
Necker Island, BVI.
Upgrade and expansion of an existing RO plant, installing spiral wound membranes
in place of the hollow fiber membranes previously used and increasing the size of the plant
from 53,000 gpd to 100,000 gpd for this exclusive private island.
Marriott Frenchman's Reef,
U.S.V.I. Design, construction and operation of an upgrade and conversion of an existing
170,000 gpd extended aeration wastewater treatment plant to a 240,000 gpd MBR. This contract included
demolition of a sand filter, construction of new MBR tanks, and rerouting of aeration piping, all the
while the plant to continue to operate at full capacity.
Westin St. John, U.S.V.I.
Design, construction and operation of a 160,000 gpd RO plant in 1998 and subsequent additions and
renovations of distribution pumping systems throughout the Westin Resort. In 2010 the RO plant was
upgraded to 200,000 gpd, adding 40,000 gpd in capacity while at the same time dropping the energy
usage by 30%. Design, construction and operation of a 100,000 gpd MBR wastewater treatment plant in 1999 and
subsequent addition of a temporary 60,000 gpd MBR for expanded capacity in 2008. TSG currenty operates and
maintains all pumping systems on the property and has been awarded a second 10 year term to operate and
maintain the RO and wastewater plants.
CusinArt Resort & Spa, Anguilla.
Design, construction and operation of an upgrade, and expansion of an existing RO plant
to a 120,000 gpd MBR wastewater treatment plant to serve the resort.
Recent Projects - Mexico
Vista Serena Resort - Montage
Hotel and Spa, San Jose del Cabo, Mexico. Design and construction of a 1 mgd seawater
desalination plant for this five star hotel and resort that replaced an existing hotel in the
Baja California Sur region of Mexico.
El Dorado Golf and Beach Club,
Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Design, construction and operation of a 300,000 gpd seawater
desalination plant. The plant was designed to fit into the basement of an existing building and
therefore prefabrication was limited. TSG had to custom design certain components to allow the
plant to fit through the access door.
Recent Projects - United States
Southlake Utilities, Inc.,
Orlando, Florida. Design and construction of upgrades to existing water and wastewater
treatment plants. Upgrades included the controls, storage and pumping systems for the existing
2.9 mgd water plant and expansion of the wastewater plant from 600,000 gpd to 1.5 MGD.
Jacksonville Electric
Authority, Jacksonville, Florida. Completed the design and permitting for the first
large scale MBR wastewater treatment plant in the northern part of Florida, a 1 mgd, expandable to
2 mgd plant that was build using a Kubota membrane system.
Big Canoe, Georgia.
Design and construction of a 1 mgd, expandable to 2 mgd, microfiltration surface
water treatment plant. This was the first direct membrane filtration plant permitted in the
State of Georgia.
Horseshoe Beach, Florida.
TSG provided pilot testing, permitting, design and construction of a membrane plant
for the Florida Gulf Coast community of Horseshoe Beach. This plant was designed to eliminate
THMM precursors and reduce the high level of iron in the water. The plant was phased to initially
treat 215,000 gallons daily and a build-out capacity of 500,000 gpd.
