Responsibilities for TSG
Mr. Terrill currently oversees all design and project
management activities in the Gainesville, Florida facility. He works with
all aspects and types of water treatment systems; including brackish and
seawater reverse osmosis systems from the design phase to the completed project.
Experience
Mr. Terrill specializes in water conversion and liquid process equipment. He
has experience in production management, personnel management, project management,
operator training, PLC (programmable logic controllers), HIM systems
(human interface modules), electrical, and mechanical skills both in manufacturing
and at the job site. With the U.S. Air Force, he had experience with maintenance
and troubleshooting in intergraded avionics (electronic aircraft systems) working
directly on aircraft.
Project and Employment Experience
Working with GE-Osmonics, Mr. Terrill specialized field services working directly with
project managers, presiding over progress meetings, and dealing directly with local
government officials, engineering firms, contractors, and local workers. His
responsibilities included completing reverse osmosis, evaporation and filtration projects.
Some projects for which he was responsible while working for GE-Osmonics include three
separate City of Pascagoula, Mississippi 1.3 MGD water treatment projects; a 1 Million
GPD water treatment project for the City of Clearwater, Florida; for the Turks a Caicos
Water Co., Providenciales, a four train 1 MGD seawater desalination project, Consolidated
Water Company’s seawater desalination plant in South Bimini, Bahamas; water treatment
plants for the City of Ottawa, Illinois, and the City of San Juan Capistrano, California;
many Pepsi projects from 200KGPD to 600KGPD; and many Coca Cola projects from 200KGPD to 1
MGPD. Some other projects include ozone systems for the Tampa Aquarium, Tampa, Florida
and the City of Dauphine Island, Alabama; a Westinghouse project in Lima, Peru; a spring
water plant in Clomel, Ireland; a power project in Newcastle, England; a date factory in
Muscat, Oman; a Coca Cola plant in Oslo, Norway; and a Pepsi plant in Almaty, Kazakhastan.
Prior to working with GE-Osmonics, Mr. Terrill worked for George Scott International, a
manufacturer of reverse osmosis, evaporation, and filtration equipment. He was directly
responsible for all manufacturing activities, managing field services, parts orders, and
quality control. Other responsibilities included serving as safety officer and providing
assistance in document control while the company worked directly with the US government to
develop a lightweight water purification unit (LWP). Some projects for which he was responsible
while working for George Scott International included research and development on the LWP; a
Dupont cartridge 60,000 GPD seawater RO project for GMSB in the Florida Keys; a 250,000 GPD
protein skimming project in Honduras; two Thycol evaporator projects for explosives recovery
streams in Brigham City, Utah; and a hydrogen peroxide concentration project for rocket
propulsion in Bakersfield, California.
While working for ITEK International in the late 1990’s, Mr. Terrill served as Director of
the Reverse Osmosis Department. He was responsible for all aspects of reverse osmosis systems
design, manufacture, sales and service, including the design and construction of brackish and
seawater reverse osmosis units ranging in size from 1000 GPD to 100,000 GPD. In this role, he
performed field engineering, modified existing equipment, and trained operators on the equipment.
Mr. Terrill began his career with Mechanical Equipment Company (MECO) where he served as a foreman
and field service technician. He was responsible for the Panama City, Florida manufacturing plant
including supervision of machinists, welders, painters and assemblers for the purpose of constructing
over 200 portable reverse osmosis units, heat exchangers for nuclear power facilities, and pumping
systems. He also supervised equipment modifications in the field as well as system design at various
production facilities.
