Water Treatment Plants
Water quality is an essential component of any development, whether it is a resort, residential, recreational, industrial or
commercial. In areas where saline water dominates, clean water supplies are typically limited and fresh water usually comes at a premium price.
Even in challenging settings like these, TSG is capable of designing and building membrane treatment facilities that can provide high
quality water at reasonable costs. Water of many types can be used as the raw or source water, and the level of treatment or purification can be specifically
tailored for each customer's individual need, whether for potable use, landscape or golf course irrigation, or unique industrial applications that
require ultra-pure water.

Smaller plants can often be provided on transportable
skids, while larger plants will generally be custom-designed, prefabricated
in our Gainesville, Florida facility and assembled on site.
Custom Designed Plants
Our larger water treatment plants are typically
custom-designed to meet a customer’s exact needs and specifications.
Most of our plants are designed to be expanded to keep
pace with future requirements.
Difficult topography, non-typical feedwater sources,
alternative and renewable power sources, as well as strict product
water chemistry requirements are all challenges that can be effectively
met through the custom design process—and generally at a cost
no greater than standard off-the-shelf packages offered by other
companies.
Our custom units can also include advanced energy
recovery systems, precise chemical treatment systems, integrated
cleaning systems and telemetry to a centralized location. In addition,
TSG can provide installed intakes, storage systems, and distribution
infrastructure.
Smaller, Skid-mounted Plants

Some customers have smaller
needs, and TSG has products and solutions that can do the
job – simply, dependably and economically. TSG offers
a variety of moderate capacity, easy to operate, membrane
treatment plants that can quickly and easily be installed
to provide clean, potable water to a small business, a
hotel or even an individual home. We can install these plants,
maintain them, and even modify them to meet a particular
need or situation. Just like our custom-designed plants,
these pre-designed, skid-mounted plants are cost-effective,
reliable, durable, and simple to operate. And just like
our larger plants, TSG’s
smaller plants come with in-depth service after the sale
and may include quarterly maintenance agreements. |
Our standard reverse osmosis desalination plants range from 4,000 gallons per day to 60,000 gallons per day. Most
units are fully automatic and treat water based on demand.
TSG can build and ship these units all over the world and our experienced staff can provide both installation assistance and continuing support after
the unit is put into service.

Other Water Treatment Plants
Nano-filtration and micro-filtration are common
treatment techniques when ground or surface water is the primary
water supply. TSG personnel are skilled and experienced with both
technologies. These types of filtration can also be used if your
water needs do not require the high degree of separation provided
by reverse osmosis. Industrial water supply and commercial irrigation
are two examples where these treatment systems can be very effective.
TSG can also provide the necessary pre-treatment and post-treatment
chemical systems to fine-tune water quality to your exact specifications.
Intakes and Raw Water Supply

Seawater desalination systems can use either wells or intakes as their source for raw
seawater.
TSG’s high quality intakes use ultra
strong materials and proven securing techniques to resist
wave action and storm surges. This extends a system’s
useful life and minimizes on-going maintenance and repair
costs.
Horizontal wells and other types of onshore
raw water supply sources can also be used and TSG has substantial
experience with such onshore systems as well.
Whatever system is
chosen, TSG can design it from scratch or develop new piping,
pumping or controls compatible with an existing desalination
system.
