Case Study: The Power of Data Analytics
One of TSG’s customers was having difficulty with a system shutting down prematurely on a tank high level alarm. This forced the customer to increase manning to constantly monitor the plant and restart after each erroneous reading shut down the plant. This added to the costs of the operation not to mention not having the ability to fully fill the tank.
TSG analyzed the data that we acquired remotely and discovered that the level sensor was receiving electromagnetic feedback causing erroneous readings. A filter as added to the system and the problem was solved.
