TSG Water Resources has established TSG Water Partners to provide resorts with the opportunity to establish their water and wastewater treatment systems as private utilities.
A “private utility” is an arrangement in which TSG Water Partners takes full risk and responsibility for designing, building and operating desalination and/or wastewater treatment systems, including all necessary capital, and the resort simply pays for water and wastewater treatment services as needed. This service is intended to replicate the services of a municipal utility in the US, but the systems will be and remain a part of the critical infrastructure of resort.
As resorts and private residential communities begin to emerge from the COVID-19 crisis, many resorts are considering converting their properties to a private utility arrangement not only for the immediate financial benefits that it may provide but also for the long-term assurance of high quality, reliable utility service for their resorts.
